Jin Sonic is a collaboration between acclaimed Japanese ambient jazz guitarist Yutaka Hirasaka and Michael Scott Dawson. The two met up in Tokyo and over a gin discussed their teenage punk bands and a shared love of Jeff Parker. Upon returning home Dawson revisited their incomplete track that had been omitted from his The Tinnitus Chorus LP, adding new layers of textures and guitars inspired by their conversations.
