13-Part EP Series features an artist from each province and territory that when overlaid forms a map of the country

Two years ago, We Are Busy Bodies began exploring the feasibility of developing and designing an intricate 13-part EP series. The idea was that when overlaid, it would form a map of Canada and allow a focus to be placed on an artist from each province and territory, a love letter to the music and artists from across the country.

After many stop-starts and conceptual designs, the limited edition box set and square-shaped EPs will be released on October 23. To achieve the intended design, our nation’s largest territory has been slightly repositioned to fit on the flexi, while our smallest province has been magnified, both for artistic purposes. We have worked diligently to be respectful and hope our intent is interpreted as such.

The series is limited to 350 total copies, with 200 box sets available for pre-order, and 100 of each artist’s EP available directly from them this fall. The series features new, unreleased, and live songs by artists from across the country, including Chixdiggit’s first new music in nearly 10-years. For each box set purchase, We Are Busy Bodies has made donations to water conservation, forestry, and wildlife conservation organizations.
